Mental Health
We know that swimming is important for our physical health, but it can be valuable for our mental health too. The serenity of being underwater and rhythmic movements can alleviate stress and anxiety. However, if you suffer from mental health problems that can be exacerbated by swimming, such as excessive exercising, body image, panic attacks due to restricted breathing or even anything unrelated to water, it is important to contact someone who can help you find support.
If you are struggling with your mental health, please contact welfare@cheltenhamartisticswimmingclub.com for confidential support or click on these two documents for access to local and national services.
