What is Artistic Swimming? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Artistic swimming used to be known as synchronised swimming.  It involves the performance of athletic movements in water, choreographed to music. This can be done as a solo swimmer, in a duet or as a team.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s a highly skilled sport combining stamina, flexibility, core strength, balance, theatrical performance and musicality.  It also requires excellent lung capacity, with swimmers holding their breath underwater for long periods!<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
